Tried and True does not disclose the status of any person as a Resident without the expressed written or spoken approval of the Resident, barring two exceptions: We will disclose to law enforcement any known details of a fugitive or alleged perpetrator in an ongoing investigation. It is unethical for us to shelter or protect any person who may be involved in ongoing criminal activity. Similarly, we will also disclose any pertinent information if Tried and True or it’s staff are issued a subpeona regarding such information or knowledge.

Providing structured and/or supportive housing does not place us under the consideration of federal legislation such as HIPPA, which pertains to medical care. However, we never make public under normal circumstances whether anyone is or isn’t a Resident in or Program, either currently or previously.
